Chris is a 30-year veteran corporate attorney and heads the firm's business law practice.
Following graduation from Colby College and Boston University School of Law, Chris spent a decade in large firm corporate practice, primarily with McDermott, Will and Emery, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and real estate.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, Chris ventured into the e-commerce, and co-founded an online retailer that grew to over $130 million in annual revenue and over $1 billion in total sales. Chris served as Director, COO and General Counsel. In those roles, Chris managed over 250 employees, negotiated over $100 million in third party contracts, supervised fulfillment and shipping of over 40 million packages annually, and collaborated with his co-founder to raise over $100 million in debt and equity.
Chris spent the following decade growing several venture-backed businesses as COO, General Counsel and National Director of Real Estate.
After receiving her law degree from Boston University School of Law, Erica clerked for the Justices of the Superior Court, which led to a position in the business litigation practice of a well-known Boston law firm, representing individual and corporate clients, in the role of plaintiffs and defendants, with respect to employment law matters, fiduciary duty, franchise law, intellectual property, and shareholders rights.
Over the course of her career, Erica has developed a deep knowledge of several industries, including commercial and residential real estate development, construction, health and wellness and restaurants/food service.
Erica's clients range from individuals to closely held family-owned business to publicly traded corporations. shareholders who bankrupted the defendant company, accounting firms that misrepresented the company’s financial worth, or parties that received fraudulent transfers from the primary defendant.
Erica is regularly consulted retained in family business disputes in which the legal issues are exacerbated by family emotions and dynamics. Bringing a sensitivity to the situation but also a toughness and resolve to achieve the right result, Erica has achieved repeated great success in negotiating favorable settlements for her clients, with the desired financial result reached, together with a return day-to-day peace.
Erica is also a licensed mediator, specializing in resolution of contractual, employment and family law matters.
